- This product was new and sealed. It came here faster than expected and works just as intended. I use this coupler to connect my Ethernet cable from downstairs to another, longer, cable to use an xbox upstairs on a bigger television. Everything worked the way I wanted it to. No problems. I decided to replace the wifi connection to my family room with a hard wired ethernet connection. I thought my 75 foot cable would be long enough, but it wasn't, so I used this little thing to patch to another shorter length cable. Well, it works.
