- I purchased this item for my wife for a Christmas present for making jewellery She has only used it once or twice and already the bar along which the sliding jaw travels is coming loose fron the ball joint gimble I notice that it might be held by a small hex head bolt but I cannot access this as it is obstructed by the vice jaw screw bolt which I cannot remove Any suggestions please on how to fix this problem Otherwise a nifty little vice
